SHAMVA – A horrific incident occurred in Shamva on Sunday, when two children, aged three and four, lost their lives after being trapped in a car for hours.
The victims, Kuziva Koffi and Kudakwashe Magombo, were playing in a vehicle parked at their home, when the car doors locked them inside.
Their parents, Susan and Concilia Chirupani, had left them unattended from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, according to the police.
Inspector Milton Mundembe, the Mashonaland Central Police spokesperson, confirmed the tragic event and said the bodies were taken to Shamva Hospital for post-mortem.
