HARARE – Two boys both aged 15 years face murder following a stab attack on a 25-year-old man who had confronted them for talking to his girlfriend.
Police confirmed the incident which happened in Mazowe at midnight.
“…ZRP Marlborough is investigating a murder case in which two male juveniles (15) stabbed to death Nisadi Maruza (25) with a steel rod on the chest and back after an argument at Nduna Shops, SAS Mine, Mazowe on 07/04/23 at around 00:00 hours,” police said.
“The victim had allegedly seen the suspects talking to his girlfriend and this did not go well with him.”
Meanwhile, police in Harare have confirmed investigating a mob attack which led to the death of a 38-year-old theft suspect in Harare’s Waterfalls suburb Thursday.
Police said the incident happened at a house along Bradfield Road, in the low density suburb.
“The victim, Nomore Mutseriwa (38) died after being attacked by a mob for allegedly stealing two cellphones and a Bluetooth speaker radio at the house,” police said.
