NYANGA – Robert Junior, son to late former President Robert Mugabe, cheated death on Saturday when he crashed his luxury Range Rover Vogue SUV during a holiday excursion with friends in Nyanga.
Known for living large, the older son of the late leader’s three known siblings, had reportedly gone on holiday with friends in the mountainous Eastern Highlands.
He was reportedly hospitalised with minor injuries while little is known yet about his company.
The luxury vehicle is said to have fell off the road at Rwatsumbu Vatsomba on the road from Mutare to Nyanga.
Robert Junior’s health troubles are now becoming common.
He was hospitalised in Singapore this year after suffering a lung collapse when he had travelled to the Southeast Asian country in May this year.
