BULAWAYO – Zimlive editor Mduduzi Mathuthu was charged with “undermining the authority of the president” after attending a police station by appointment on Monday.
Mathuthu arrived at the Bulawayo Central Police station just after 10AM accompanied by his lawyer, Nqobani Sithole.
Police at the Law and Order division later pressed the charges against the journalist, according to Sithole. He was released into the custody of his lawyer after signing a warned and cautioned statement.
