HARARE – Norton Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa on Tuesday denied sensational allegations by a woman claiming to be pregnant with his twins that he is a gay in relapse.

Mliswa also rejected similar charges from former Chivhu South lawmaker Killer Zivhu following a bare-knuckle Twitter brawl in which the two grown men traded malicious personal barbs in unrestrained fashion, drawing dozens of amusement-seekers online.

Susan Vivian Mutami, 32, who claims to have dated Mliswa since October last year, told a local website that she broke up with him and moved out after allegedly relapsing into his gay inclinations despite assuring her that he had quit.

The woman alleged that the blunt lawmaker and former Zanu PF Mashonaland West chairman had asked her to bring him a man for a threesome.

“I was stunned. Here was a man who had told me upon meeting me that he had left all this behind him,” Mutami was quoted as saying.

“He had told me that he had done it all: bisexual, sex with man, foursomes. He said he had 18 children but because he was turning 50 he wanted to get a get a vasectomy. I don’t hold people’s past against them and he sounded sincere, so I accepted.”

Mutami also claimed she had since discovered that Mliswa was “sleeping with one of his male associates”, whom she went on to name.

But Mliswa shot back and branded Mutami a “project” who had only moved out of his Avondale apartment because she couldn’t afford to “continue paying rent.”

“Next time she should advise her handlers to strategise better and punch harder as the gay slur was a weak blow which couldn’t be further from the truth. I can only warn any other would-be victims against her; beware!!” Mliswa cautioned on Twitter.

While pushing back against his alleged baby mama, the in-your-face independent legislator was also embroiled in a nasty parallel combat with Zivhu, an equally bellicose character who accused him of being a “girlfriend to other men.”

The ugly spate between the two erupted when Zivhu Tweeted a picture of himself at an eatery feasting on chicken and chips with a Shona caption that translated to: “It’s really painful to be insulted by a person who has only drunk water when you are eating good food.”

The post drew a lot of criticism and negative comments, including from Mliswa who accused Zivhu of dining on stolen money after allegedly duping home-seekers at his Galloway residential project.

“What is actually painful is that you are surviving on people’s stolen money. You are now running amok at Tokwe Mukosi, come back and develop Galloway where you dumped and duped residents of their money,” Mliswa charged.

He continued: “They [Galloway residents] are aggrieved by your actions. At this moment when you have nothing constructive to do you should pursue education and at least attain ‘O’ levels.”

Zivhu clapped back and accused Mliswa of being a bisexual deadbeat who is failing to take care of his alleged 50 children.

“Temba Mliswa let me remind you of your 43 children that you are failing to educate. No wonder why you have resorted to extorting everyone,” Zivhu took a swing.

“Below the age of 5 you also have 7 children which brings the total number of your kids to 50. At the same time, you are a girlfriend to some men, you really overwork yourself.”

Mliswa rubbished Zivhu’s claims saying he was a responsible loving father of 18, and threatened to drop a ‘bombshell’ that would destroy his nemesis.

He followed through with a screenshot from a Twitter direct message alleging that Zivhu had impregnated a Mwenezi maths teacher’s wife and infecting her with HIV, leading to the husband’s death.

Zivhu denied the allegations.
