BULAWAYO – Mutare lawyer Tafadzwa Primrose Jaricha was crowned winner of the 2018 Miss Tourism Zimbabwe beauty pageant in Bulawayo on Saturday night.
On a good night for Manicaland Province, Life Matunzeni of Mutare was second princess while Natalie Mangondo of Mashonaland West was the first runner-up.
Jaricha, 22, strutted confidently and won over the crowd at the glitzy event held at the Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel.
The 2015 Miss University of Zimbabwe winner graduated last year with an LLB Honours Degree. She works for a law firm in Mutare.
Jaricha, who will represent Zimbabwe at the Miss Tourism World finals, won $10,000 while the first and second princess received $7,000 and $5,000, respectively.
She received her crown from outgoing Miss Tourism Zimbabwe Ashley Morgen.
The pageant ran under the theme ‘Unveiling the Beauty of Zimbabwe’.
