HOUSTON, Texas – American Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo have announced the signing of central defender Teenage Hadebe from Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor for a reported US$1.65 million.
The Zimbabwean is expected in the United States on Thursday for a medical.
Hadebe, 25, was a key player for Malatyaspor in his two seasons in Turkey during which he made 60 appearances for the club.
The former Highlanders and Kaizer Chiefs defender is expected to be Dynamo coach Tab Ramos’ first choice, partnering Tim Parker, 28, who has just signed a three-year extension to his contract.
Houston are in action on Wednesday against the Portland Timbers in the MLS.
